About ManuscriptRx

ManuscriptRx exists for working academics. The motivation is direct: revisions take weeks, peer review takes months, and the gap between submitting a draft and getting useful feedback is the slowest part of the research cycle. A careful read from a knowledgeable colleague used to be the only way to close that gap. Now there is a second option.

ManuscriptRx is run as a small, independent product. There is no venture capital, no growth team, and no roadmap dictated by stakeholders outside the academic community it serves.

What it is, and is not

ManuscriptRx is a pre-submission review tool. Five specialist AI reviewers, each calibrated to a different dimension of manuscript quality, produce structured feedback on a draft. The output is meant to surface the issues a real reviewer is likely to flag, before the draft reaches one. It is not peer review, not editorial advice, and not a substitute for a human collaborator. It is a fast, cheap, and honest second pair of eyes.

How we think about quality

Every review is calibrated to your discipline, your target journal (when supplied), and the level of bluntness you ask for. Author-blind mode is on by default, so author names and affiliations do not reach the AI unless you opt out. We refund any review the system flags as failed, and we read every email sent to support@manuscriptrx.com.
